Bloodborne Pathogens
This course is for cosmetologists, nail technicians and estheticians with potential exposure to blood in the course of performing their tasks. Topics include an overview of bloodborne pathogens, symptoms of bloodborne diseases, recommended control measures, proper disposal of contaminated materials, selection of personal protective equipment (PPE) and information on post-exposure evaluation.
